On Monday, February 24th, the Tategamori Wind Festival was held at the Flower and Izumi Park venue.

Every year, the event was held outside in the parking lot, but this time, the "Children's Festival", "Storytelling Session", and "Mölkky Free Trial Session" were held inside Kids Land Molly, and on the lawn area, the "Foot Ice Bath Endurance Contest" and "Sports Chambara" were held. Many visitors came to the venue, and all the events were a great success!

At the Children's Festival, children were able to enjoy nostalgic activities such as a lottery for candy and a shooting gallery, and nearby some children had a go at Mölkky and spinning tops.

In addition, heated battles were held in the sports chambara division for adults, elementary school students, and children. In particular, the children's division saw endless, no-holds-barred smacking matches, so spectacular that even the organizers were put in a panic.

Then there was the traditional ice foot bath endurance competition. Here too, there was a 15-minute time limit for each division for adults, elementary school students, and toddlers, and the winner was decided by playing rock-paper-scissors if anyone was still remaining. However, there were always a few people who were unexpectedly better at enduring each competition, so the winner was decided entirely by rock-paper-scissors.

We also served pork soup from noon onwards, and many people enjoyed the piping hot pork soup.

This concludes all events at the 16th Tategamori Wind Festival.
