Ark Corporation (Kouhai, Fujisawa-cho, Ichinoseki-shi, Iwate Prefecture, Representative Director: Hashimoto Shinei) will be holding the "Tategamori Summer Vacation 2024/Kids Free Campaign" at Ark Tategamori, which it operates, for residents of Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture.
This initiative is being implemented with the hope that local children will have a great time playing to their heart's content while experiencing the natural beauty of a ranch during the summer holidays of 2024. For those who live in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, or those who commute to school or work in the city, admission will be free for one child (ages 4 to elementary school) for every adult who purchases an admission ticket.

- Period: Thursday, August 1, 2024 to Saturday, August 31, 2024
- Eligible: People who live in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, or who commute to school or work in the city
Upon entering, you will be required to show proof of your driver's license or insurance card.
Annual pass holders are not eligible.

A campaign in which admission for one child (ages 4 to elementary school) will be free (usually 600 yen including tax) for every adult ticket purchased (1,200 yen including tax).
□ Summer vacation activities you can enjoy during the "Tategamori Summer Vacation" period
Ark Tategamori will be implementing the following events as part of its summer vacation plans for 2024.
- Rocket-launched sprinkler:
In the "Fragrant Wind Garden" at the farm entrance area, water is sprinkled with a rocket-launched sprinkler during the day. It is said that sprinkling water can lower the perceived temperature by 1.5°C, so you can have fun while enjoying the refreshing feeling. (Held irregularly)
- Water play Rental water guns:
Let's play with water guns using the water collected from the rocket-launching sprinkler. We have a wide variety of water guns available for rental for 100 to 300 yen for 30 minutes.
- Reading in the shade of a Cornus grove:
How about relaxing and reading in the shade of the Cornus japonica trees while feeling the breeze blowing through the ranch? There are benches and wind chimes in the shade. Please relax and enjoy the sound of the wind chimes ringing in the wind.
- insect catching:
A classic summer vacation independent study, insect collecting, can be done at Ark Tategamori! The vast 100-hectare ranch is home to many insects, including the giant dragonfly and black swallowtail, which are said to be the strongest insects. Bring a bug cage and a bug net with you when you go out.
- Get a free mascot at the Snow Dome Workshop!:
How about making a sparkling snow globe and thinking of the snowy scenery during the hot summer? During the event, participants in the snow globe workshop will receive a mascot (worth 220 yen). The snow globe making experience costs 1,980 yen (tax included) and is a workshop where you can choose and combine your favorite mascots (220 yen each) from over 100 types to create your own snow globe.
- Summer flower viewing season:
At Yumemigaoka Garden, 45,000 three-foot verbena plants and 2,000 lantana plants are in full bloom. Three-foot verbena is a beautiful purple flower that literally grows to a height of over 1m. Lantana is native to South America and has a Japanese name of "Shichihenge." It is a flower that is fun to watch as it changes color and is very resistant to heat.
- Blueberry picking experience:
Ark Tategamori's blueberries are safe and secure. You can eat as much as you want and pack them in a designated bag to take home. It costs 600 yen (tax included) per person. They are delicious summer fruits whether you eat them as they are or make blueberry sauce.
