Event details

A music concert is being held at Ark Tategamori with the concept of a marriage of "food, music and nature." This time, a joint concert of singing and piano will be held with the beautiful scenery of the sunset as the backdrop.

We have invited tenor Suzuki Hidekazu, who is from Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, along with soprano Tajima Hazuki and internationally acclaimed pianist Kimono Marie, winner of the Polish Chopin Competition, to perform a range of Japanese lyric songs and famous opera pieces.

Enjoy world-class music while surrounded by the aroma of fresh herbal tea during the fantastical autumn twilight at the ranch.

Date and time: Saturday, November 16th, doors open at 15:00, performance begins at 15:30, ends at 16:45, with a 15-minute break

Hidekazu Suzuki: Tenor

Born in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture. Graduated from the Vocal Music Department of the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts. After graduation, he studied abroad in Milan. He studied under A. Loforese and N. Zanini. He was a member of the Milan G. Verdi Choir for about two years and performed at numerous theaters, including La Scala. In July 2014, he participated in the Rossini Opera Academy held in Pesaro and took a master class with JD Flores. After returning to Japan, he performed as a soloist in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Mozart's Requiem, and Handel's Messiah, and is a member of the Tokyo Opera Singers, Ex Novo Chamber Choir, and Harmonia Ensemble, and is a tenor with Mori no Oto Singers on BS-TBS's "Japanese Masterpiece Album." He currently works as a full-time music teacher at a private school in Tokyo, while also giving private vocal lessons and conducting and instructing several choirs.

Hazuki Tajima: Soprano

Graduated from the Tokyo College of Music Vocal Music Performer Course. Completed graduate studies in the Opera Studies area of the same university's vocal music department. Belonged to the NHK Tokyo Children's Chorus for 10 years, from the second grade of elementary school until graduation. During her time with the choir, she appeared in many concerts, television programs, and radio shows. Won third place at the 61st All-Japan Student Music Competition Tokyo Tournament. Won a special prize at the 12th Japan Performers Competition. In 2013, she participated in the Mozarteum International Summer Academy and Janet Perry's master class as a short-term study abroad student. In 2014, she received a scholarship from the Tokyo International Arts Association and participated in the Vienna Musikseminar at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and Franz Lukasowsky's master class, obtaining a diploma. She has studied under Etsuyo Tachikawa, Yuko Kamado, and Teruhiko Komori. Currently, in addition to her performing activities, she teaches private vocal lessons and music classes.

Marie Kiyone: Piano

Born in Kanazawa City. Graduated with honors from the piano performance course at the Tokyo College of Music High School. Received a scholarship while enrolled. In 2008, studied abroad at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland, graduating at the top of her class and completing her graduate studies at the university. Graduated from the Imola International Piano Academy in Italy. Studied under Atsuko Okada, Miko Harimoto, Piotr Paleczny, and the late Piero Rattarino. The only foreigner to win a prize at the All-Poland Chopin Piano Competition, taking 4th place. Participated in the 2010 International Chopin Piano Competition. Has won and won numerous prizes at competitions both in Japan and abroad. Has performed with famous orchestras both in Japan and abroad, including the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa and the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra. Has been invited to recitals and music festivals in various countries. In 2017, returned to Japan permanently. Part-time lecturer at Showa University of Music. Member of Sakinone Trio and Queentetto
