Hello. I am Maeda, a shipping driver who is involved in transporting pigs.
Today, I would like to talk about what I keep in mind in terms of safety as a shipping driver on a daily basis.

Our shipping drivers' work tools are, first and foremost, large trucks.
Large vehicles are of course different in size and appearance from the driver's seat. In addition, the scale of the damage when an accident occurs is large, and an accident can never occur.

While driving such a large truck on a daily basis, what I pay the most attention to is to "always drive calmly, without panicking."
The pigs that we transport on trucks are loaded at the farm more carefully and as quickly as possible. Sometimes not.
In addition, especially in winter, road conditions can cause road closures, speed restrictions due to heavy snowfall, and other unexpected troubles.
When this kind of trouble occurs, the estimated arrival time may be delayed, but I am conscious of not being rushed and panicked at times like this.
Of course, being on time is important, but if you lose your composure and drive recklessly for that reason, it will lead to an accident and cause trouble for other cars.

We drive alone, but we carry not only our own lives, but also the lives of other drivers and pigs on our backs. I would like to continue to operate without accidents and violations while always being aware of this.
