The other day, I went to Minnesota and Iowa to inspect feed ingredients.
I was once again amazed at the vastness of the corn fields, which remain the same no matter how many kilometers or tens of kilometers I drive, and I enjoyed meeting with the local people.
This time, talking with him made me realize once again the strength of American agriculture.

Now that the TPP agreement has been finalized, import pressure from other countries will only increase in the future.
Japan's livestock industry relies on imports from North and South America for almost 90% of feed ingredients.
Although the history of livestock farming in Japan is still young, this current situation has been a nearly universal fact from the post-war period to the present.

We work with local rice producers to use local feed rice as feed ingredients. In terms of quantity, it still only accounts for a few percent of the total, but we are currently in the process of formulating plans to increase the amount of these uses.
Someday, we would like to offer our customers pork made from 100% domestically produced ingredients!

This training session made me realize that feeling.
In the near future, we are planning to create pork that will please and demand even more customers.
Please stay tuned! !
