In Japan, which is blessed with four seasons, seven herbs can be found in the fields in autumn just as they are in spring.

Hagi, Kikyo, Kudzu, Fujihakama, Joroka, Obana, Nadeshiko, these are the seven herbs. (By the way, Obana means pampas grass)

Unlike the spring herbs that are made into porridge, all the autumn herbs cannot be eaten as is. The roots are processed to be used as medicinal food.

About Kikyo and Kudzu. They are mainly used for viewing, as they can be displayed during moon viewing.
