“Revitalize your town with herbs” National Herb Summit.

``HERB'' is a plant that has various effects that are useful for people's lives and health, and each plant has its own mysterious world.

A nationwide campaign was started in 1992 with the aim of spreading the wonders throughout Japan and revitalizing towns and villages.

``Herb Summit'' was held on May 28th and 29th this year in Kumakogen Town, Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku.

Kumakogen Town is a town with a population of 8,600 people located in the mountains, 30 to 40 minutes by car from Matsuyama City on a mountain road.

Although the population is small, there are two museums, an astronomical observatory, and a mountain museum (Ishizuchi Mountains), making it a culturally excellent town.

I received the impression that.

At the herb summit there, there were literally many herbs from all over the country, as well as from all over Shikoku and locally.

Fans gathered and each venue was very crowded despite the light rain.

And next time. Next year's venue has been officially decided to be Ichinoseki City!

A handover ceremony from Kumakogen Town to Ichinoseki City was also held at the exchange venue.

Of course, our Tategamori Ark Farm will also be one of the venues.

The plans are still in the early stages, but we will collaborate with local people through herbs, flowers, and plants to spread the herb industry nationwide.

I would like to spread the wonder and fun.

Also, I had many encounters at this Herb Summit. It was also a touching reunion.

You can also go a little further and visit Monet's Garden, a famous garden in Kochi Prefecture that you have wanted to visit for a long time.

It was a fruitful journey.

Ark Farm's herb garden "Kaoru Kaze Garden" is now entering its peak season for lavender, roses, and herbs.

It's a wonderful season for viewing.

The lavender fields in the center of the ranch, which will begin blooming in the middle of this month, are gradually becoming full of buds.

Including the seedlings planted last year, the achievement rate of the 20,000 to 25,000 seedlings plan is about 65%, but the remaining 35% will soon be completed.

I am planning to plant lavender seedlings.

Next year, I would like people all over the country to see the completed large lavender field.

It's the season of dripping green.
