At the poultry department office, we are raising chicks hatched by warming fertilized eggs called ``mukatsu eggs.''

The newly hatched chick was so small and black that it could fit in the palm of your hand.

It was so cute!

that is…

About a month has passed since hatching.

The fluffy feathers turned into hard, sturdy feathers, and even the unreliable feet began to grow fine claws.
This is the current chick↓

gallant…
I'm surprised at how quickly they grow.
When the baby was just born, I couldn't tell if it was male or female, but this baby is definitely male (^_^;)

The chicks used to be chirping in the cardboard box, but now when you open the cage door, they jump out screaming, "Food! Food!" (lol)

It is said that female chickens begin laying eggs approximately 150 days after birth.

Chicks with big appetites.
I look forward to watching their growth in the future.
