As the weather gets colder, it's the season for migratory birds to arrive from the continent, but bird influenza is a fear for birds. As a countermeasure, we are installing bird nets and vinyl to protect against the cold. Therefore, it is difficult to see birds in the Fureai Plaza.
Also, due to the recent outbreak of swine fever in Gifu Prefecture, it has become difficult to see some of the grazing pigs.
