About spare ribs

The weather has been nice and sunny for the past few days.
Thank you for visiting Ark Ranch despite the poor road conditions with snow and ice remaining in the shade.
Now, we sometimes receive inquiries from customers asking how to eat spare ribs.
Some people asked me, ``What else should I do besides barbecue?''
I would like to introduce some of our favorite dishes at this time of the year.

Spare ribs and daikon radish stew in a clay pot.
For the spare ribs, insert a knife between the bone and the meat and make a slit along the bone.
Cut the radish into appropriate sizes. Parboil both, drain the water, and then put them in a clay pot.
Season with white dashi and soy sauce and simmer gently (about 30 minutes).
The radish absorbs the flavor from the bones and meat, giving it a gentle flavor that will warm you up during this cold season.

* The seasoning can be arranged in various ways, such as tomato flavor, spicy Korean style, ethnic style, etc.
