Yesterday at Iwate Safari Park,
"Tategamori Kaze Festival" (2nd week) was held.
As part of the event, a ``Sketching Competition'' was held in the morning.
Drawing paper, colored pencils, etc. are handed out at the reception desk, and students can sketch their favorite animals.
Many elementary and junior high school students participated in the event.
Among the participants, there was a boy who was drawing an ostrich.
I took a photo of the situation.
The drawings will be judged first thing in the afternoon, and will be divided into categories for elementary and junior high school students.
The ``Safari Park Award'', ``Ark Farm Award'', and ``Flower and Spring Park Award'' will be decided.
I attended the award winner announcement, and surprisingly, the boy I took the photo with...
It was selected for the “Flower and Izumi Park Award”! congratulations!
The other award winners were also able to capture the animals in front of them very well, and I was very impressed with their high level of skill.
Not only do I love drawing, but the works I created were ones that I would only be able to draw if I really loved animals.
