For us producers, this is something we often see, but pigs behave in a variety of ways.
This time I would like to introduce the habits of such pigs.
Newly born piglets immediately start walking to drink milk.
This is because colostrum is very important for piglets to boost their immunity.
And it seems that the breasts that produce good milk (tasty milk?) are fixed.
Piglets compete for a place to suckle, causing competition between them.
When eating food, eat the strongest foods first.
This kind of place gives me a sense of wildness, or rather, it's a matter of survival for the weakest.
The pigs are also very curious and play by pushing, chewing, and picking things up while sniffing with their noses.
From around the end of April, pasture-grazing pigs will begin on the farm.
You may be able to see them using their noses like shovels to dig holes or lift rocks and tree branches.
Please come and take a look when you visit.
