The other day, here in Iwate, the “Sanriku International Gastronomy Conference 2019” was held at the Miyako City Cultural Center.

We would like to express our gratitude for the many supports received from both inside and outside Japan after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
This is an international conference that provides an opportunity to disseminate food ingredients and food culture from the standpoint of a university doctor.

I was guided from Iwate Prefecture, and Tategamori Ark Ranch, the producer, also attended as a place of learning.
I listened intently so that I could continue to help in the recovery from the disaster.
It was held for two days, but I am very sorry that I was able to attend only one day due to an internal meeting.
I was hoping that I could connect with the chefs at the networking event after the conference.

On the day of the event, the interpreter was properly interpreting on the spot, so I was able to understand the content of the lecture very well.
It was such an honor to be able to listen and meet you.

I had the audacity to invite Mr. Olivier Rollinger to the dressing room to say hello.
With the intention and contact information of Chef Yoshiaki Ishii, we are very close.
Chef Yoshiaki Ishii and Mr. Olivier Rollinger, who were unable to attend on the day of the event, are friends.
A friend who learned together. I would like to ask you about the circumstances that I could not contact you during your visit to Japan, so that both of you can contact me.
I was arrogant, but I was able to say hello.
