My name is Risa Ishii and I joined the company on April 1st.

At university, I studied animal husbandry in the Tokachi region of Hokkaido, the home of dairy farming.
I have worked with dairy farmers and upland farmers in milking and harvesting work.
It was a very new and valuable experience.

When I actually work with farmers, I often get a strong sense of their commitment and passion towards their products.
I also started to want to produce products that I sincerely think are good and have them eaten by as many people as possible.
The combination of these farmers and Ark Farm's strong commitment to producing each and every product,
I joined the company thinking that I could work here with enthusiasm.

Currently, I am working at the breeding pig farm at Hanaizumi Farm, Pig Farming Division.

Managing sows and artificially inseminating are the main tasks of a breeding farm.
It is still difficult to distinguish the sow's physical condition and signs of estrus.
I will do my best to manage it properly like my predecessors.
