I am relieved that I have finally finished sowing the wheat seeds and completed one important task in late autumn.
During the harvest season in July of this year, the weeds in the fields were more of a problem than the wheat that ripened, and a considerable amount of wheat was destroyed without being able to be harvested.
Next year, with a strong determination to not give in to the weeds, we carefully tilled the fields and did everything in our power to do so.
I won't know the results until next year, but I'm full of anxiety. Pesticide-free cultivation sometimes brings cruel and painful results.

Next, the work of planting approximately 30,000 tulip bulbs will begin.
Every year, farm management staff from the Agriculture and Livestock Department come up with a planting design for Yumemigaoka and Niji-no-oka Gardens, and all come together to plant one by one by hand.
The preparation of the field and the preparation of bulbs have already been almost completed.
We will be working in the cold wind, but we will work hard (trying not to catch a cold!) and looking forward to seeing the happy smiles of our customers who are looking forward to next year!
Kurikoma, a distant mountain in the Ou Mountains, is experiencing its first snowfall. This is also a beautiful winter feature.
