At Tategamori Ark Farm, we are planting 250,000 tulip bulbs from November to December with the aim of blooming next Golden Week.
In fact, rice cultivation is active around our farm, and the area is struggling to make use of rice husks at this time of year.
Therefore, we aim to utilize local resources and are making effective use of them at our farms.
First of all, we are preparing to use it together with fertilizer in the fields for the purpose of soil improvement.
In addition, in the tulip fields, after planting the bulbs, we covered the rice husks about 5 cm to prevent weeds.
Since this is the first time we have used it in a tulip field, we are spraying it on some fields as a trial, but if this goes well, we will be able to spread it over the entire tulip field, which will require a large amount of rice husks. .
This result is obtained before flowering in mid-April.
I'm looking forward to it.
