Yesterday, the 11th, was the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The media is also showing tsunami footage in various news reports, and dramas are being aired, so I am reminded of various things.
We don't live on the coast, but in a mountainous area about an hour's drive away.
Although we were not directly affected by the tsunami, some employees were directly affected.
There was also considerable indirect damage.
These are things I don't want to repeat again, but it's also a time to reaffirm the preparations that we must never forget.
Considering that reconstruction is progressing, I can only hope that everyone in the disaster-stricken areas will move forward in a positive manner.
Four or five years ago, a customer came to visit us after his entire home was washed away by the tsunami.
``I thought everything had been washed away and it was no good, but a flowering tree has grown back in what was once a garden.
I felt like I was coming back to life, and I was encouraged. I felt inspired to plant flowers and create a garden again. ”
I was very moved when I heard what he said.
rebirth of life
having a baby
sprouting of flowers
awakening of trees

I think we humans can live our lives while receiving energy from these things.
I would like to pray for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the disaster-stricken areas this year as well, and I would like to send my heartfelt encouragement to everyone who lives there.
