Summer festival of summer vegetables from Tategamori Ark Ranch

At Tategamori Ark Ranch, we are now in the rush of summer vegetables, and it is the busiest of the year.

Tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, green peppers, zucchini, pumpkins, onions, okra, corn, and many other kinds of fresh vegetables are delivered to our restaurants every day.

Here are some of the dishes we especially recommend.

First of all, tomatoes are in season now. The recommended tomato dish is “lemon syrup pickles”.
It is served as "lemon boiled" in the street, but it is not actually boiled (laughs)
Tomato size should be petite or midi.
To make, put lemon slices in syrup made with wine, granulated sugar, and bay leaves, add tomatoes that have been peeled with hot water, and chill in the refrigerator overnight.

Since this is the season, I think you can enjoy it even more deliciously by adding a cool scent with basil and mint.

Another dish is a summer vegetable smoothie. I don't specify the type of vegetables, so it's okay to use vegetables that are available at that time of the day. To make it, adjust the taste with the occasional vegetables, honey, lemon juice, Tategamori's specialty apple juice, and mix it with a juicer.
If it's a hot summer day, adding a pinch of salt will help prevent heatstroke and summer fatigue.

By the way, the third item is eggplant and green pepper stir-fried with miso, a staple of summer that everyone knows.
