How many times have you heard the words "for the first time in the history of observation"?
30 degrees in October is a temperature that was completely unimaginable.
(On October 4th, Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture recorded a temperature of 31.8 degrees...)
However, on the 18th, the temperature suddenly dropped to the 10s, with the lowest temperature in Tokyo dropping to 11 degrees.
Iwate suddenly becomes wintery.
The cold Tohoku winter has arrived.
This fall (I can hear you asking, ``Is it really autumn?''), at Tategamori Ark Farm,
I was encouraged by the abundance of vegetables. In particular, onions are in abundance, and are used as a "hanging onion box".
For the first time, I sold it in a ``hanging'' state.
By ``hanging and drying'' onions, they ``last longer'' and lose their flavor by gradually losing moisture.
This was an attempt to deliver the producer's wisdom of "condensing" as it is.
Thanks to all of you, we have many customers who have used our products for the second time, and customers who have purchased our products for the second time.
It was a very happy experience, with some saying, "This is my first time making onions."
However, "hanging = drying" means "hanging in a cool, dark place and ensuring ventilation."
It's not easy at home. After all, the contents (center) were damaged during storage.
We also received some words of reprimand for what had happened.
It's difficult to judge what's inside because you can't see it with the naked eye, but it's important to create the best environment for onions.
It made us keenly aware of the difficulty of providing this service and the weight of our responsibility in recommending it to our customers.
It was an event that I received.
If you are currently storing "hanging onions," please check the ventilation and the quality of the onions themselves.
Please check the condition. If the onions are “watery” or “soft”, they are damaged.
There is a high possibility that this may occur, so immediately remove the onions from hanging and only hang healthy onions.
I hope you can control it.
Autumn is deepening, and the season of "new ginger" is here.
This year, we are trying "mass production of ginger" for the first time. It's almost time for harvest.
I wish I could do it well...
If all goes well, the best collaboration between farm-grown, pesticide-free "new ginger" and Tategamori Plateau pork.
I'm excited to deliver the items.
Please wait for a moment.
