nice to meet you! I'm Suzu Ota from Hanaizumi Farm in the Pig Farming Division, and I joined the company in April of this year!

Currently, I am working in a farrowing shed where we take care of the piglets born from their mother's birth until they are weaned. I feel a great responsibility to take care of the piglets during this period of time, as their future will be decided.

I majored in animal husbandry at university, but I didn't have many opportunities to interact with pigs, and I just thought they were cute.
After getting involved in this job, I realized that piglets are not only cute, but also very strong animals.
That is... from the time they were born, they competed for their mother's milk, and sometimes gave it to each other... (I don't do that much lol)
The battle to determine which breasts are best determines the ranking and results in differences in development. Filling in this developmental gap is where you can show off your skills!
We want all the piglets that are born to grow up to be full of energy and to be sent off healthy and energetic.
I will take good care of the pigs every day and do my best to raise them as big as the rooms my seniors are in charge of! !
