Looking at the sky, the blue sky and the clouds that are visible in between are starting to look like spring is coming.
Even in the natural world, spring buds can be felt in many places.
Now, at Nakato Farm, we have actually started a sheep meat project with over 200 sheep, and are conducting trial production of domestically produced sheep meat, which is actually rare. To begin with, the farm was focusing on grazing pigs, but due to the spread of the pig disease known as ``swine fever,'' the grazing operation is currently suspended. (It's really unfortunate...)
However, in such a situation, a pinch is an opportunity!
An opportunity arose to try out the domestic and ranch-produced sheep meat business, which had originally been planned to utilize pastures.
Naturally, because we are involved in the business, we must carefully select everything from feed, breeding environment, and even breed in the future based on our own standards to produce sheep meat of a quality that customers all over the world will be happy with as part of the Ark brand. . There are many issues to be solved, such as what kind of food is best and what kind of breeding system is best, but we are currently solving each one one by one.
We held a tasting event the other day.
The result was... "It's delicious! It's delicious! It's delicious!!" I heard many comments within the company.
We still need to go through trial and error and improve the issues in order to bring it to the world, but I promise that the day will come when we will be able to produce mutton that will impress everyone and deliver it to your tables.
Please wait with anticipation until that time.
