As winter passes and news of the first frost and ice arrives, various preparations for winter begin on the farm.
We took measures to protect the animals from the cold.
As the fresh green grass that used to grow on the farm disappears, the animals' food has been changed to dry feed.
Outside, we are digging up herbs that cannot survive the winter in Iwate and moving them to greenhouses.
The paid area of the ranch, where various events have been held, will close on Sunday, December 1st.
The facility will be closed for the winter from Monday, December 2, 2024 to Friday, March 14, 2025.
Even though the farm is closed, our work continues.
Of course, we take care of the animals every day, and the chickens lay eggs every day.
During this time, we also prepare new herb and vegetable seedlings for next spring and repair damaged parts of the facility.
We will continue our winter work while thinking of the smiles of our customers who will visit us next spring.
