<Amethyst Sage/Salvia leucantha> Lamiaceae Perennial plant (↑The image shows Amethyst Sage Purple)
It is a member of the Salvia family native to South America and is characterized by its fluffy flower spikes that feel like velvet to the touch.
What looks like a fluffy flower is actually the sepals, and the flowers actually protrude from them.
As the weather cools, the flowers begin to bloom and can be enjoyed right up until the frost.
When it gets cold, the colors become even more vivid.
Three varieties of hydrangeas are planted in the Fragrant Wind Garden: white, purple and pretty pink.
There is also an amethyst sage flower field inside the venue!!

The white and purple varieties are planted alternately, creating a beautiful sight.
The flowers have a sweet scent...
You can enjoy this area until the frost hits, but we recommend a stroll here during October.
