This time, I would like to introduce the JGAP that our pig farming division and agriculture and livestock division are working on in terms of safety and hygiene.

JGAP is an abbreviation for Japan Good Agricultural Practices.

Our company acquired JGAP certification in 2017. One of the items in JGAP is occupational safety.

We are taking various measures for occupational safety, such as creating manuals, creating occupational safety checklists, creating occupational safety hazard prediction maps, etc. In this article, I will write about one of these methods, the occupational safety hazard prediction map.

The occupational safety hazard prediction map is a method in which everyone on-site discusses and lists hidden dangers at the site, and then visualizes them on a map. By doing this, you can rediscover dangers that lurk in your daily life. Also, by explaining the map to people who are visiting the site for the first time, you can easily explain the dangerous areas.

We work every day with these kinds of efforts in mind to prevent accidents and injuries.
