Nowadays, as the temperature gets higher, I start to feel anxious thinking about my work during the season.
Daffodils have started blooming earlier than usual on the farm. I'm a little worried that at this rate, the cherry blossoms and tulips will start to bloom early. Recently, animals have begun to appear that are destroying the tulip bulbs in the garden! That animal was...a wild deer. Since there is no food in the mountains, they eat bulb buds, so we hurriedly put wire mesh around Yumemigaoka Garden and the roadside tulips as a deterrent measure.
It was reported on the news that there will be an increase in the number of bears with cubs this year, so please be sure to carry a bell or something similar when you go into the mountains!
