I've been busy working in the fall too...

Autumn is deepening, and the leaves on the farm are starting to change color.

In the farm department, major work in the fall is scheduled to include sowing seeds in wheat fields and planting tulip bulbs, but another major task is planting onion seedlings.

A whopping 60,000 pieces! ! !

All of these onions are used in our own processed products, cooking materials, sales, and Yamabato Express.

Today, in preparation for planting seedlings, we spread organic compost, tilled the soil, and applied onion mulch.

Since it is on the grounds of a tourist farm, we were careful to make sure the multi-vinyl wrap was straight.

In order to plant 60,000 trees, we need to cover about 10 more trees with mulch, so we will continue this work tomorrow.

Fortunately, we were blessed with good weather and the work is progressing smoothly and is scheduled to be finished early next week.

This year, we will change the field and plant in what was a wheat field until last year.

It's a large field, so even after planting 60,000 trees, only half of it is left, but we plan to plant potatoes in the remaining area next spring.
