Thank you for purchasing Mukashi Tamago every time.

Today, I would like to talk a little about the colors and patterns of egg shells.

The commonly used "red ball" and "white ball" change depending on the color of the feathers of the parent bird. There are exceptions, but if the parent bird has white feathers, it will lay white eggs, and if it has brown or other dark colored feathers, it will lay brown eggs called akadama.

The Nera bred at Tategamori Ark Ranch has black feathers, so the egg used to be called "Red Ball".

Even if you say "red ball", there are various eggs, such as dark colored eggs, light colored eggs, and even ones with patterns.

↑The colors and patterns of the shells are so different.

In a nutshell, the differences in eggshell color and pattern are:

"Personality" of Eggs

is.

Chickens of the same species, the same age, and the same breeding environment will never produce the same eggs!

Dark-colored eggs are more nutritious and look more delicious, but the color of the shell is added at the end of the egg production process in the chicken's body, so the color does not affect the nutrition or taste. there is no.
(yolk → white → shell → color)

Also, some eggs often have spots on the shell, but this is just a lot of pigment attached during coloring, so there is no problem with the contents.

Dark-colored eggs, light-colored eggs, eggs with patterns, large eggs, small eggs, slippery eggs, rough eggs, eggs that do not look very good and are not sold in stores as "non-standard", but they are free-range and have grown well. All of the "mukashi tamago" eggs laid by chickens are equally delicious!

We hope that when you open the pack, you will enjoy the “individuality” of the eggs, such as the different colors and patterns.
