The chickens at Tategamori Ark Farm are raised as a mixed breed, so the eggs they produce are fertile.
 
Fertilized eggs, as the name suggests, are eggs that have been fertilized and are viable eggs from which chicks will be born.
 
To hatch the chicks, keep warming them at a temperature of about 38 degrees Celsius, and by repeatedly turning the eggs, the chicks will hatch in about 3 weeks.
 
The moment a chick is born, it begins to make the sound of its shell cracking, bursts out of its shell on its own, and then immediately begins to walk away with a floppy sound.
Some may take several hours to come out of their shells.

A total of 5 chicks were born. I am currently keeping them at the poultry department office.
Newly born chicks are so cute.
 

On a personal note, I was transferred to the poultry farming department last year and learned the job with all my heart.
My seniors and co-workers kindly and carefully taught me the work even though I was just a young girl. There were many times when I made mistakes and got scolded, but a year has passed soon.
Now, I am able to work as a member of the poultry farming department.
 
And since this year is the year of the Rooster, I would like to make this the year in which I make the leap from being a chick to an adult.
