Spring has come to Ark Ranch.

In the Niji-no-oka Garden, daffodils are blooming among the lily pads, and the red plums are also blooming and emitting their fragrance.

In the fragrant garden, there are lovely snowdrops, crocuses, and Christmas roses.

This year, we took the plunge and cut down the trees on the mountain inside the ranch that had grown so long that they no longer had a good view.
It took a lot of courage to cut down so much, but it reminds me of a time when there was nothing on this farm.
Thirty years ago, this place was nothing but a vast expanse of reddish-brown soil.
Nature made trees grow so big.

The view has become much better, and the view has changed.

On a different note, this is part of today's restaurant Til's natural food buffet.
A gift from the mountains, “Fukinotou tempura”
``Chickweed juune'', which is not a weed, is also available from the field.

By the way, today the second pre-event of the National Herb Summit Festival was held at Hana to Izumi Park.
We welcomed Ms. Mieko Komatsu, a leading expert on edible flowers, and Ms. Taeko Shishido, an authority on herbs, and it was fascinating to sample the wonderful, gorgeous, and luxurious edible flower dishes.
Please check out Facebook.

Finally, the third round will be held here at Tategamori Ark Farm on April 1st.

Please look forward to it.
