We are very happy that we were able to obtain JGAP certification, as Japanese agriculture is expanding in scale and becoming more organized.
What has changed significantly in terms of on-site initiatives is the system for labor and safety.
This is an area that we have been focusing on, such as shortening overtime hours and implementing a no-overtime day.
We have strengthened the practice of encouraging staff members to regularly communicate with each other about their health.
In terms of safety, on-site checks for near misses, which had previously been carried out mainly by the General Affairs Department, etc.
Early detection and early countermeasures are now possible.
The purpose is not to obtain JGAP.
With the start of this certification, we will continue to be able to produce safe and secure food.
I would like to create a place where young people engaged in agriculture can work as an attractive workplace.
