My name is Chiba from Ham Kobo.
A question we often get asked by our customers is, "How do I eat it so it tastes delicious?"
This time, we will ask: Can you eat Tategamori Ham Kobo's hams and sausages as they are?
I would like to tell you about the different ways to eat it.
First of all, Tategamori ham and sausage are heat-treated, so you can eat them as is, but I think they taste better when heated. Also, since it is well seasoned, you can enjoy it as is without adding anything such as ketchup or mustard. Please enjoy the original taste of Tategamori Plateau pork and the flavor of the spices that bring it out.
To eat the sausage, once the water has boiled, turn off the heat, then add the whole package of sausage, cover, and boil for about 5 to 10 minutes to enjoy a crispy texture. If possible, it is best to bring the whole pot to the table and open the package just before eating. If you soak it in hot water, the flavor will start to melt away and the skin will crack. Even if you serve it on a plate, the skin will dry out over time and lose its texture. Recommended foods to boil include white sausage and mini sausages.
You can also add the sausage to the frying pan and fry it until lightly browned, giving it a different texture than boiling it. We recommend coarsely ground sausage for this. Everyone please try it.
It is recommended to eat ham, käse, and wurst foods cold at this time of year. If it is a sliced product, please enjoy it as is with salad or bread. If it's a block product, we recommend cutting it into thick slices and grilling it until the surface is browned. It is also finely chopped and perfect as an ingredient in soups. The flavor of the Tategamori Plateau pork melts out and makes the best dashi.
Are you all drooling?
