Hello!
This is Teppei Matsubara from the Tokyo office.
The rainy season is still continuing, but how are you doing?
It's that time of year when laundry is hard to dry and you don't like it.
And after the rainy season, a hot midsummer awaits.
Summer is my favorite season.
The cicadas are chirping energetically, and the greenery is lush and energizing.
When I was little, I used to get up early and go to collect beetles and stag beetles.
Well, this time I would like to introduce some of my own measures against the intense heat.
I hear that the weather is expected to continue to be unseasonable this summer due to the El Niño phenomenon.
It is expected that the heat will not be as hot as last year.
However, you can get heatstroke even if you stay indoors, so it's important to replenish your fluids, minerals, and salt.
①About air conditioning
You probably use your air conditioner at home, but what temperature do you set it to?
I keep it at around 27-8 degrees Celsius.
This may seem hot, but we use a secret weapon: a circulator.
A circulator is a device that circulates indoor air, unlike a fan, and has a strong airflow.
It is compact in size and does not take up much space.
This circulator simply circulates the cold air from the air conditioner throughout the room, cooling it evenly.
Air is also circulated, creating a comfortable space. You can also dry laundry indoors.
You can also save on electricity bills and kill two birds with one stone!
What's more, it prevents your feet from getting too cold, so it's also a great countermeasure for sensitivity to cold!
Open the facing windows and turn on the ventilation fan to create an air passage.
If you turn the screen door and face outside
You can also take in the natural breeze, so it can also be used as a countermeasure against the cold air conditioner.
②Meals
Summer means stamina cooking!
When you think of stamina, you think of meat, and when you think of meat, you think of pork!
Pork is rich in vitamin B1 and is very effective in recovering from fatigue.
You may think that you eat eel on the day of the ox, but it actually contains more vitamin B1 than eel.
And it's healthy because it's low in fat.
The way we recommend eating it the most is pork shabu made from Tategamori Kogen pork.
It's easy, healthy and very versatile. You can customize it with your favorite dressings and seasonings.
Tategamori Plateau pork thighs do not harden even when boiled, and have a moist texture that makes them easy to eat.
Furthermore, there is no fat, so it is healthy!
When it was featured on a TV show, someone even said, ``You can eat endless amounts of this shabu-shabu.''
Also, if it's grilled, ginger grilled is the best.
Tategamori Plateau pork loin is tender and full of umami, and the fatty meat is delicious, so when you grill it, the sweetness of the fatty meat increases, filling your mouth with umami.
Ginger also has antibacterial properties and is good for the body.
It also helps prevent food poisoning.
Let's all eat pork this summer and get through it with energy and energy!
