Even if you open the windows of the chicken house fully and run a large fan, if the outside temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius, the chickens' body temperature will increase.
It also gets hot inside the chicken house.

So this summer, we created shade in the pasture as a new measure against the heat.
The summer sun was so strong that even chickens who wanted to go outside would quickly come back inside.
The shade allows me to cool off outside.

It was evening when the photo was taken, so there was a shadow on the building.
