Mr. and Mrs. T have been visiting the farm market regularly for several years.

When I was selecting meat in the store, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to explain to you.
When you visit us, we would like to talk to you from time to time.

In fact, Mr. T is an amateur kokeshi doll maker and has a kokeshi doll workshop at his home.

The other day, I received an ``Amabie'' kokeshi doll (made by Mr. T) from Mr. T's wife.

What is Amabie?

Amabie is a half-man, half-fish monster with long hair, a beak, and three legs.
During the Edo period, it appeared in the sea of Higo (Kumamoto Prefecture) and said, ``If a disease spreads, draw a picture of yourself and show it to the people.''
It is said that he disappeared into the sea after saying this.

Attracting attention in hopes of calming down the new coronavirus infection,
It is also used as an icon on the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's infection prevention awareness site.

I hope the world returns to normal life as soon as possible.
