I'm Sugawara, in charge of animals in the Agriculture Department.

It's been hot these days, but today at Tategamori Ark Ranch, it rained on and off.
It was a very cool day, and I somehow felt that autumn was approaching.

The temperature is soothing for those of us working outside.
Even the animals that hadn't come out of their huts because of the heat seemed to be active today.

The work I did today was moving sheep.

Just moving = not moving.
It will be a move for breeding according to the breeding season of sheep.

Sheep are seasonal breeding animals.
The breeding season is from September to November in the fall, and when a male and female are brought together during this period, they will become pregnant.

This time, it is a matchmaking of 2 males and 20 females.
(It is said that one male can mate with 40 females.)

A sheep's gestation period is about five months.
If the breeding goes well, the baby rush of lambs will start around February next year.
