At Tategamori Ark Farm, we try new things every year.
Two years ago, we started beekeeping in earnest so that we could collect honey ourselves, and the harvest amount was approximately 50 kg.
Last year, we made our own flour and started using and selling organic JAS flour.
Additionally, starting in the new year, we plan to use bark as a by-product during operations such as tree thinning on farms.
In this way, we sow seeds for multiple projects every year and explore possibilities for future projects.
Taking on new endeavors may be accompanied by anxiety, but nothing can replace the growth that comes from overcoming challenges.
In addition, by having the opportunity for young staff to present their results (image: Case study presentation at the 2021 Agriculture, Commerce and Industry Collaboration Seminar), I am taking action with the hope that this will lead to confidence and future growth.
The most fun time is when I think about what I should work on this year.
