In October and November of this year, we had very rare sunny autumn weather every day.
On the contrary, it rained every day in September. I often say that the amount of rainfall in a year is somehow made up of some kind of argument that makes sense. I think that's probably true.
So I think we will have a lot of snow this winter.
In the midst of all this, our group company Wakaba Organic Fertilizer Center was busy delivering and spraying fertilizer in October and November. (Thanks to you!)
Chemical fertilizer prices are soaring due to the effects of the weak yen and high energy prices. Most chemical fertilizers are basically imported from overseas. Under such circumstances, domestic organic fertilizers are being reviewed. It's painful that prices are going up in various ways, but I think it's a very good thing in terms of returning to Japan.
With such a tailwind, we have been able to sell fertilizers very smoothly this year, and rather, we have continued to be in short supply, which has caused inconvenience to some of our customers. I'm sorry!
In addition, the number of farmers who are promoting efforts to produce feed rice is gradually increasing, and the use of fertilizers in rice fields is also gradually increasing. We are very pleased with the recent trend, as we have a strong desire to use the fertilizers we manufacture for domestic paddy rice.
Currently, we buy about 1,500 tons of feed rice from the local area every year and use it as feed for pigs. Eventually, I would like to proceed with efforts to exceed 2,000 tons per year.
Agriculture that makes full use of Japan's land! I would like to do a job where I can help with that.
