Thank you very much for using our egg picking service this year.
As the person in charge of egg collection, I met many customers this season, many of whom were first-time visitors, and I was very happy to see that many of them had come to ARK just to collect eggs.
There was one touching episode. A young couple came from another prefecture, not just Iwate or Miyagi, to collect eggs. The father said,
"I came here to collect eggs to teach my children that freshly laid eggs are warm."
He said.
It was a moment when I realized this was also a form of food education.
Egg Picking will be open until December 1st this year, and is scheduled to resume on Saturday, March 15th with the pre-opening of Ark Tategamori.
Recently, bird flu has been raging in Japan, with infections at poultry farms all over the country, and we here at the company are also feeling anxious. Regarding egg picking, we will be strengthening infection control measures and operating under the utmost care, so we hope you will enjoy egg picking for the few times remaining.
