At Ark Tategamori Bakery, a total of five young employees, two in charge of sweets and three in charge of bread, work hard every day to make our products.
Compared to other departments, we have a lot of young employees, and since the beginning of this fiscal year I have been thinking about how I can support their growth.
When I thought about what I could do, I realized that there was a limit to what I could do with my own knowledge alone. So, I decided to start by asking people in my department who had specialized knowledge to teach me. I also thought it was important to actually see and learn on-site, so I tried to incorporate experiential learning.
Below are some of these efforts.
Photo: 1 "Learning about merchandising from Chief Kamoda"
This is a scene where Manager Kamoda is imparting knowledge about merchandising to younger employees. Through practical training on the job, the employees are steadily acquiring skills.
Photo 2: "Experiencing the warmth of free-range fertilized eggs on site"
By actually visiting the site where free-range fertilized eggs are grown and experiencing the warmth of the place, students gain a deeper understanding of the importance of the ingredients and their quality.
Even in a tough environment, we strive to work happily and continue to make good products. We will continue to grow together with our employees and provide products that please our customers.
Thank you for your support.
