I'm Sugawara, in charge of animals in the Agriculture Department.

Today, I'd like to talk about animal treats.

Animal treat vending machines are located at the farm entrance, and within the farm, under the tree house, in the deer ranch, animal house, and playful area.

During Golden Week, we had a lot of customers and the animals seemed very satisfied (^^)

It's fine to give treats to animals near vending machines, but there are also some animals far away who are looking forward to treats, so we'd like to introduce them to you.

First, after you enter and walk through the fragrant garden in front of the treehouse, look to your left.

There may be some hungry sheep (Suffolk breed) waiting for you.

Everyone seems to be more interested in the tree house and the white peacock, so they always just pass us by (laughs).

Next is a pasture near a lavender field, at the end of a chatty road.

By the time you all make the walk here, there are often no snacks left.

We would be very grateful if you could bring (or leave) some snacks.

Animal treats cannot be given to birds such as chickens or peacocks.

There are plants growing on the ranch that are poisonous to the animals, so we do not allow you to feed them grass or leaves.
