There are about 300 sheep on the farm. Most of them are black-faced Suffolk sheep, but there are also three Corriedale sheep with white faces.
Speaking of sheep, it's time to shear their wool, and the sheep on the farm are no exception, so we're currently shearing them one by one. If the sheep's wool isn't sheared, it will continue to grow. If that happens, they'll get heatstroke or be unable to move in the summer, so we want to finish shearing before it gets really hot.
That said, shearing is hard work, so I wish the animals would at least be quiet.
