Hello!
My name is Kanazawa and I am in my second year at the asparagus farm in the pig farming division.
The weather has suddenly gotten cold over the past few days, but how are you all doing?
Without further ado, do you know what kind of work you do at an asparagus farm?
Many people think from the name that it is a place where asparagus is grown, but
In fact, it is a ``weaning house'' where we take care of piglets that have been weaned from their mother pigs.
This farm was originally a field used to grow green asparagus. At its peak, asparagus can grow 20 to 30 centimeters a day. It was named ``Asparagus Farm'' in honor of this, with the hope that the piglets would grow up as healthy as asparagus.
Piglets are very delicate after being separated from their mother sows, and many of them still want to be pampered.
We are raising these piglets in place of their mothers.
Every day I am soothed by the sight of my baby squealing and begging for homemade milk.
We are doing our best to keep the piglets healthy and happy!
