Kagayaki no Oka has become a place where you can see the beautiful sunset that can only be seen in winter.
*Except during the winter season, you will not be able to see the sunset as it is blocked by the mountains in the foreground.

Kagayaki no Oka Observatory
You can reach the observation deck in about 5 minutes on foot from Wanpaku Square.

The Kagayaki no Oka Observation Deck was completed in March 2020 by the staff.
This is the highest point on the ranch, and the cherry blossoms bloom beautifully in spring, giving you a great view of the ranch.

Izunuma in Miyagi Prefecture, which is approximately 24 kilometers away from Ark Tategamori, is registered under the Ramsar Convention (official name: ``Convention on Wetlands of International Importance as Habitat for Waterfowl'') as a habitat for migratory birds. You can even see through it.

In addition, about 1,500 grapes for brewing are cultivated next to Kagayaki no Oka.
In May 2023, construction will be underway to expand the vineyard below the Kagayaki no Oka Observation Deck.
You can now see the spacious red deer grazing area, and it has become a very pleasant place where you can stay all day long.

It is a place where you can refresh your body and mind while enjoying the chirping of birds, the sound of the wind, and the changing seasons.
