    After arriving at Tategamori Ark Farm, get to know its food before anything else by trying your hand at making sausages from Tategamori Kogen Buta pork. Highly experienced staff members will take you through the processes step by step. You can enjoy your sausages on-site, or take them home with you.

  • Egg collecting

    Tategamori Ark Farm’s Tamago-hiroi Bokujo is one of the few chicken farms in the country where chickens are allowed to freely roam their pasture. Here visitors can try collecting freshly laid fertile eggs from nesting hens. Some of our visitors have written to us saying they successfully hatched the eggs after taking them home.

  • Explore the Kaoru Kaze no Garden and Treehouse

    Take a leisurely stroll around Kaoru Kaze no Garden, our English-style garden comprising a lavender garden, rose garden and herb garden. At the Welcome Entrance is our Treehouse, “Kukunochi,” the host tree of which is a zelkova that is roughly 100 years old. The treehouse was named after Kukunochi, the deity of trees portrayed in the Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan). The treehouse offers a spectacular view of the whole farm.

    The menu of Restaurant Tills features an abundance of Tategamori Kogen Buta pork, Mukashi Tamago eggs and agricultural chemical-free vegetables produced on the farm. It also serves fresh vegetables harvested from the kitchen garden of Kaoru Kaze no Garden. Restaurant Tills is a certified 2-star Iwate chisan-chisho (local production for local consumption) restaurant.
